The face of your novel...

It's no secret that book covers are important. For new authors, I'd say that they are one of the most important tools that we have. While the blurb might cause a reader to actually purchase the book, a reader won't even see the blurb if the cover doesn't cause them to click on the book. 

Here's a video that shows my process, the different transitions a cover can go through before it is finished, and the difference that a professional cover designer can make.
